Berthold Muller Ceramic Mosaic & Gold-Plated Coffee Table, 1950s

Stunning mosaic and brass coffee table by Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen from Germany 1950s. 
The ceramic mosaic tiles are arrayed in a beautiful abstract design with golden elements, reminiscent of modern art of the period. 
The shape is also sculptural, the subtly curved edges with brass trim on tapering beechwood legs.
The composition of the drawing is of great elegance and rarely encountered.
Very rare to find. Excellent condition.
