Domus Nova Gio Ponti coffee table Italy 1950

Very elegant and sculptural Domus Nova coffee table, designed by Gio Ponti and manufactured by Domus Nova for the department store La Rinascente, Italy, 1950.
The table is crafted from walnut wood with a smoked-glass top and features a distinctive diamond-patterned lower shelf, a signature Ponti detail that adds both rhythm and refinement to the design.
It remains in very good original condition: the glass top is perfect, and the walnut wood shows a beautiful, authentic patina consistent with age and careful use.
