Mid-Century Modern by Egon Ostergaard Rolltop Secretary Desk, 1970

This iconic midcentury Swedish modern teak cylinder rolltop secretary- desk- cabinet is made in 1970's Sweeden by Egon Ostergaard designer and manufactured by Markaryds Mobelindustri manufacture. The Classic Scandinavian Modern design has clean Minimalist lines and features a beautiful inlaid opposing-grain pattern roll top surface. The roll top opens on to a top compartment with small drawers and cubbies and a slide-out writing surface. There are three spacious lower drawers with sculpted inset wooden handles. All brass fittings with original key included. This versatile piece can be used as desk, cabinet, dresser or bar, extendable to 65cm. Original mark.
