Oswald Vermaercke "Astrid" Walnut Sideboard for V-Form 1960

Stunning high quality sideboard model “Astrid” designed by Oswald Vermaercke and manufactured by V-Form, Belgium 1959. This sideboard is made of beautiful grained veneered walnut with solid legs. It has two wide doors with a shelf behind and four drawers so it offers plenty of storage space. Very nice details are the well-crafted curved handles and tapered feet. Beautiful clean and straight design inspired on designs from Danish designer Arne Vodder. A timeless mid-century design classic.
 
In excellent condition, this sideboard has been carefully refinished with Osmo hardwax, enhancing its durability and aesthetic appeal.
