Set of 4- teak dining chairs "HAMAR" designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé, 1960s, Netherlands. Very comfortable dining room chairs comes with in a teak frame and contrasting newly upholstered green light or dark wool upholstery. Elegantly curved teak wood base and backrest represents Mid-Century Modern Dutch design. WéBé is an acronym for the two family names Walraven & Bevers. Two Dutch furniture-making families who joined forces in 1938 and founded WéBé in Beneden Leeuwen (the Netherlands). The company prospered in the 1950s and 1960s into one of the larger furniture factories in the Netherlands, with Louis Van Teeffelen as one of their most important and best known designers.
