William Watting Brass, Wallnut, Round Glass Coffee Table for Fristho, 1950s

Mid-Century Modern period original coffee table, designed by William Watting, produced by Fristho, the Netherlands, 1950s.
Model Name- "Acrilan".
 A very special design due to the organic warm walnut wood combined with a transparent glass top. 
The center shows a beautiful solid brass detail. 
Very decorative due to the organic design and elegant due to its tapered wooden legs. 
 This table is documented in the book “Fristho ‘Vooruitstrevende meubelen, 1921-1978'” by Bert Looper, page 129 (2014).
In very good vintage condition. The glass plate shows some very small signs of use, but no minor damages.
